Resources 4 Families
This exciting project is Communities 4 Families’ effort to collect and make available resources which support families in our downtown communities. The need for such a project was highlighted in our study Stress, Coping and the Impact on Parenting in the Downtown Residential Communities of Winnipeg, which showed that parents do not always know where to find family resources in the downtown.
We hope to make a wide range of resources easy to find. Parents, organizations and community members will be able to search for resources they need:
- by our alphabetical agency listing
- by the community or postal code
- by title of resource
